Veterinary Assistant

Mare started volunteering in the veterinary field in 2008 and began working full time in 2014 after getting a Bachelor’s in Zoology from NC State. Having always loved animals, especially exotics, since childhood, they could not imagine working in a different field. Their main interests are dentistry, surgery, and client education. Mare currently has a Czechoslovakian Vlcak named Octavia and a tabby cat called Huntrix. Outside of the veterinary field, Mare enjoys visual arts, D&D, reading, gardening, and crochet.
